KC Zine Con #11 will take place took place at Bubble Wrapp (3816 Main Street, KCMO 64111).
KC Zine Con is wheelchair accessible. Aisles between exhibitor rows are wide enough for mobility devices to navigate. There are ADA Accessible parking spaces available in the Bubble Wrapp parking lot. Bubble Wrapp is wheelchair accessible via the front entrance.
Please note that this year’s event will have both indoor and outdoor tabling spaces.
KC Zine Con is accessible by public transit: Bubble Wrapp is located on Main Street, on the KC Streetcar line, a short 3 minute walk from both the 39th street Streetcar stop, and the 39 bus stop.
KC Zine Con is accessible by bicycle: Bubble Wrapp is located a 3 minute bike ride from both Broadway Boulevard and Gillham Road, both of which have protected bike lanes.
All bathrooms at KC Zine Con are gender neutral. There is 1 ADA bathroom onsite.
Breastfeeding parents may utilize any space in the building.
KC Zine Con is a scent-aware, smoke-free space. While we cannot guarantee a scent-free space due to the size of the event, we ask that participants please refrain from wearing fragrances the day of the event to make our space more accessible for those with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. No vaping or smoking is allowed inside KC Zine Con out outside in/around the vendor tent area.
In order to protect the most vulnerable among us, we are requiring that all participants and attendants wear facemasks and remain masked while indoors or in the tabling tent.
KC Zine Con has worked to make a good faith effort to keep our website as accessible as possible, by including “alt” tags on images, so that screen readers can describe images, coding aria-labels into our “Read More” buttons, so that they include descriptive text about what article the “Read More” button links to, and using contrasting colors for text and background. We are always working to try and make our website more accessible.
